Amanda Seyfried
Amanda Michelle Seyfried ( ; born December 3, 1985) is an American actress. Her accolades include a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award, as well as a nomination for an Academy Award. Named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by ''Time'' in 2022, her films as a leading actress have grossed over $2.4billion worldwide.Seyfried began acting at age 15, with a recurring roles on the soap operas ''As the World Turns'' and ''All My Children''. In 2004, she transitioned to film acting with her breakthrough role as Karen Smith in the cult classic teen comedy ''Mean Girls''. She found further success with leading roles in the musical ''Mamma Mia!'' (2008), the horror comedy ''Jennifer's Body'' (2009), the romance drama ''Dear John'' (2010) and the sci-fi action film ''In Time'' (2011).
Seyfried expanded into dramatic roles with performances as Cosette in ''Les Misérables'' (2012), Linda Lovelace in ''Lovelace'' (2013), a pregnant parishioner in ''First Reformed'' (2017), and Ann Lee in ''The Testament of Ann Lee'' (2025).
