Virginia Mayo

Mayo {{circa|1950}} Virginia Mayo (born Virginia Clara Jones; November 30, 1920 – January 17, 2005) was an American actress. She was in a series of popular comedy films with Danny Kaye and was Warner Bros.' biggest box-office draw in the late 1940s. She is also known for her roles in the war drama ''The Best Years of Our Lives'' (1946), the film noir ''White Heat'' (1949), and the war adventure ''Captain Horatio Hornblower'' (1951).
